Our Schools
La Grande School District is located in La Grande, Oregon, nestled in the Grande Ronde valley between the Blue Mountains and the Wallowa Mountains of Northeastern Oregon. We have four elementary schools, Willow Elementary, which is home to all of our kindergarten classes, Central Elementary, Greenwood Elementary, and Island City Elementary Schools (grades 1-5). The district also includes La Grande Middle School (grades 6-8) and La Grande High School. We have a total student population of about 2100 students.
It is the mission of La Grande School District to provide the very best education to our community's children. We strive to help all students achieve their highest potential. We work closely with parents and community members to keep our schools safe, exciting, and motivating. We welcome community involvement in our schools.
